Hi! I’m Elizabeth
I'm Elizabeth Tice, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor serving clients virtually throughout North Carolina.
As someone with ADHD, I understand the challenges that can come with having a brain that works differently from what the world expects. I know what it's like to feel like the "weird" kid, to feel like you're "too much," and to wonder why things that seem easy for everyone else can feel so difficult.
As a parent of children with ADHD and autism, I also understand the challenges that families can face while navigating neurodivergence. I've seen firsthand the importance of understanding a child's needs, strengths, and unique way of experiencing the world.
These experiences, combined with my professional training, shape the way I approach therapy. I believe therapy should fit the person—not force the person to fit a textbook. My goal is to create a space where you or your child can feel understood, accepted, and supported while developing tools that actually work in everyday life.
My own experiences and my work with neurodivergent clients are a big part of what inspired me to become a therapist. I became a therapist because I want to help people who have spent too much time feeling like something is wrong with them discover that they aren't broken—they may simply need support that works differently.
You don’t have to be less
Less sensitive.
Less emotional.
Less distracted.
Less autistic.
Less ADHD.
Less you.
You deserve support that helps you become more yourself—not less.
